    Shipping

EW Direct takes extra effort to ensure that your shipments arrive safely and in a timely manner. We also make every effort to keep your shipping and handling costs as low as possible. Freight and handling costs are charged on a per item basis for standard UPS and common carrier delivery within the continental United States. Since shipping is quoted on a per item basis, your actual shipping costs will be included on your checkout page.

UPS Shipments

Most of the products will ship standard UPS at a flat rate of $10.00 per item, which includes shipping and handling. However, due to weight, distance, and/or special packaging requirements, your UPS shipment may have an additional surcharge, which will be reflected on your checkout page.

Overnight or Second Day delivery is available on most items for an additional charge. Please contact our customer service department for details.

Motor Freight

Due to the size and/or weight, some of our products must ship via motor freight. An additional shipping, handling and/or crating charge will be added to these items at the point of checkout. There is no expedited delivery for motor freight items. Motor freight charges include delivery to the curb of the shipping address only. Please make arrangements to have adequate help to transfer the item from the truck to the house. Any additional services, such as inside delivery, shall be negotiated between the buyer and the freight company and will not be the responsibility of Employee Wholesale Direct. The motor freight company will call to set up an appointment for delivery. Therefore, a daytime contact phone number is required, for notification by the freight company.

Shipments Outside the Continental U.S.

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin islands is quoted on a per order basis. If you would like an order shipped outside the continental United States, please contact our customer service department for procedures and policy.

Order Confirmation

After your order is placed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order. In the event that you do not receive an order confirmation, please contact us to confirm that we have received your order. A shipping confirmation with tracking information will be sent by e-mail after your order has shipped. Orders placed on the weekend and holidays will be processed the following business day. Orders normally will ship within one to two days of processing.

Back-Orders

If an item is a special order or temporarily out of stock, we will contact you by e-mail with the estimated lead time.
